Texas Inmate Families Association (TIFA) — also styled Texas Incarcerated Families Association
Austin-based 501(c)(3) founded 1996 with ~19 chapters statewide; provides education, resources, and emotional support to families of people in Texas prisons and jails, and advocates for more humane conditions.
Hospitality House of Huntsville
Provides free lodging, food, and support to families traveling to Huntsville/Livingston/Navasota to visit incarcerated relatives (and a refuge for families during executions); operating since 1986 under the Texas Baptist prisoner-family ministry tradition.
