The Burruss Correctional Training Center, on Indian Springs Drive in Forsyth in Monroe County, is a medium-security state prison for men in central Georgia. The facility has a capacity of about 806 and houses men in double-bunked cells across four buildings divided into 16 housing units. Its population includes a general population of about 650 and a separate 94-bed unit for younger men sentenced as adults.
