ASPC-Douglas, on North BDI Boulevard in Douglas, is a state prison complex for men in the far southeastern corner of Arizona, near the U.S.–Mexico border in Cochise County. The complex is made up of several units spanning different custody levels. Because of its location in the state’s far southeast, it is a remote prison, far from major cities — a long drive from Tucson. Like all ADCRR prisons, it is organized into units, and visiting is arranged at the unit level.

Douglas and nearby Bisbee have gas, food, and limited lodging. The nearest 24-hour emergency rooms are in the Douglas and Bisbee area, including Copper Queen Community Hospital in Bisbee.
Personal mail does not go to the prison. Since December 2025, Arizona routes incoming personal mail to an off-site Securus digital-mail center in Dallas, Texas, where it is scanned and delivered to the person’s tablet; address it to [person’s name and ADCRR number], P.O.
