Sending Money in Oklahoma (Oklahoma DOC)
How to deposit money to an Oklahoma DOC inmate trust account through JPay — online, by phone, or by mailed money order.
How to deposit to the trust account
Money for commissary and personal spending goes into the inmate’s trust account. Oklahoma DOC handles these deposits through JPay, a Securus subsidiary. There are three routes:
- Online at JPay.com, using a credit or debit card.
- In the JPay app, using a credit or debit card.
- By phone, on JPay’s automated line at 800-574-5729, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- By money order, made payable to JPay and mailed to JPay, P.O. Box 278320, Miramar, FL 33027. Include a deposit form and the inmate’s full name and 7-digit ODOC number.
The inmate’s full name and 7-digit ODOC number are required for any deposit. The ODOC number can be confirmed through the Offender Lookup on the Oklahoma DOC site.
Fees and limits
Deposit fees are set by the vendor and change over time. JPay charges a service fee that is shown before a transaction is completed, so confirm the current amount with the vendor at checkout. Confirm current fees with the vendor.
The phone and messaging account is separate
The trust account is not the same as the account that pays for calls and tablet messages. Phone calls, video visits, and tablet messaging run through Securus, and that account is funded separately — money added to the trust account does not pay for phone time. For how to set up and add money to the calling and messaging account, see Phone & Video Calls.
Don’t hand money over at a visit
Funds are added only through the methods above. Money is not accepted in person during a visit, and personal mail does not reach the facility — Oklahoma sends incoming personal mail to an off-site scanning vendor, so anything enclosed there is returned to the sender (see Mail & Packages). A money order intended for the trust account goes to JPay at the Miramar P.O. box, not to the prison and not to the mail vendor.
