Wyoming’s prison system is run by the Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC), which operates five adult facilities — the State Penitentiary in Rawlins, the Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, the Women’s Center in Lusk, the Honor Farm in Riverton, and the Honor Conservation Camp in Newcastle — plus contracted community corrections centers. Some Wyoming inmates are currently housed in county jails and out of state. The Wyoming Offender Locator shows who is in WDOC custody. Use the guides below for state-specific rules and procedures, or jump to a specific facility.
