Overview

Arrowhead Correctional Center is a Level II minimum-restricted men’s facility on the East Cañon Complex, about two miles east of Cañon City in Fremont County. It opened in 1989 and, with the neighboring Four Mile Correctional Center, makes up the Cañon Minimum Centers, which operate under one administration. Arrowhead houses an accredited drug-and-alcohol therapeutic community and supports Colorado Correctional Industries work programs, including canteen, service-station, transportation, and K-9 operations.

Personal mail goes to the facility, addressed with the person’s commitment name and DOC number. Arrowhead is one of the CDOC facilities that photocopies incoming personal mail, delivers the copy, and destroys the original — so do not send originals you want returned.
